📋 Cancellation Policy
At KNI Japan Pvt. Ltd., we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Below are our standard cancellation rules. All cancellations must be sent in writing via email.
1. Hotel Bookings
Hotel rates are subject to a cancellation fee of 20% to 30% or higher, in accordance with the hotel's policy.
Please note that hotel cancellation fees vary based on the specific hotel brand, room category, and peak tourist seasons.
2. Tour Packages & Itineraries
Except where specified otherwise for customized luxury bookings, standard package cancellation fees are calculated as follows:

| 7 to 14 Days before tour start date | 50% of package cost |
| Less than 7 Days or No-Show | 100% of package cost |
3. Transport & Ticketing (Bullet Train / Flights)
Once bullet train tickets (Shinkansen) or domestic flight tickets are purchased and issued, they are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
4. Visa Fees
All visa processing and government embassy visa fees are 100% non-refundable.
5. Bank Fees & Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment.
- Bank Charges: All transaction, gateway, or international bank transfer fees are paid by the client and will be deducted from the final refund amount.
- Processing Time: Refunds take approximately 14 to 21 business days to process due to bank clearance requirements.
